Now
After 21 years as a high school choral director, I made the transition into administration. I am currently a middle school administrator, but I still perform professionally with The King's Counterpoint family of ensembles based in Charleston, South Carolina. My children are all grown and making great impacts in their own parts of the world. My dogs are enjoying great success dogging, but they're shedding all over the place.
What I'm Watching
What I'm Listening To
I listen to a lot of classical music on SiriusXM because, despite all the access to playlists I could possibly ask for, I like the old school aesthetic of radio where a human consciously curates anecdotes and histories of the pieces they have selected to play during their allotted time as host. I also listen to a lot of Josh Groban and Michael Bublé. Audra McDonald is a favorite, too. Aside from that, I listen to a lot of a cappella music from Peter Hollens, Home Free, Pentatonix, and the like. Occasionally, I'll get on a Celtic kick.
Last.fm doesn't provide a way to embed a widget here. There's one available from some guy running a server somewhere, but that seems sketchy, so if you're really interested in the music I've been listening to, you can take a look at my Last.fm profile.
